Pond Fishes
Pond fishes refer to the fishes that live in ponds. In the case artificial ponds these fishes are grown by people. There are lots of varieties of fishes that live in the ponds and most of them have different eating habits and living pattern.
Fishes that naturally live in ponds do not face major problem in many cases except for the fear of falling a prey to animals and human beings. The reason is that the circumference of the pond is so small than most other water bodies that it is very difficult for them to run away and so they are easily captured. On the other hand when it comes to fishes that are grown in artificial ponds they might face some difficulties from adapting to a new place to adjusting with their companions. Fishes that are grown in these ponds have to be fed regularly in the appropriate intervals.
It is suggested to install nets or other safety devices to prevent the fishes from becoming a prey to cats or birds. Similarly when fishes are grown in the ponds artificially water should be circulated often so that they are not infected. Apart from taking care of hygiene aspects proper care should be provided to these fishes and any disorders have to be dealt immediately.
